Who We Are

 

TheUnion.net was created with one goal in mind: To offer The Union newspaper subscribers first class Internet Services at industry competive prices. To do so The Union has partnered with two local companies: Full Spectrum Computer Service and SmarterBroadband.

Full Spectrum is locally owned and operated and is Nevada County's only full service technolgy service provider. In addition to offering high speed DSL and dial-up Internet service they also provide:

  • Computer Support Services - technicians are available Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00
  • Computer Repair Services - either in your home or in our shop
  • Computer Network Services - Need to get two or more computers connected and talking to each other?
  • Complete line of Business Technology Services 
SmarterBroadband is also locally owned and operated and specializes in providing high-speed, always-on broadband Internet access to rural Western Nevada County residents and businesses, who are unable to obtain broadband via other services such as DSL and Cable. Utilizing the latest in advanced fixed wireless technology SBB delivers carrier class broadband service supporting Data and IP Telephony that can be installed in hours rather than weeks.
