PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

GEFA MESSAGE

August 19, 2008

Hello to All GEFA Members

GEFA meeting Thursday August 21
Social at 6:00 PM.
Eat at 6:45 PM.

I have been in So CA for the last few days and did not get the Presidents message out until Monday evening. Had some problems with the trailer that I took down to bring the T28 engine home. Had to leave the engine at the engine shop. It should be shipped to me next week. I am still doing some work on the T28. Can you believe, more hydraulic leaks when all of the hydraulic fluid is drained and all hoses have been changed? The Pitts is all back in the air after an extended annual. Good to be back in the air.

I understand that the Auburn Airshow went very well. One of their best. Karen Smith told me that Tim O'Brien may talk about it at the GEFA meeting this Thursday.

I will be out of town for this coming meeting. The only officer that I have been able to get hold of is Karen Smith. Everyone else has been on the flying trip to Montana. I do not know if they will be back for the meeting. Karen will take care of the meeting if none of the other officers are back.

We still need to come up with new President and a new Secretary for the coming year.

Have a great time at the meeting.

President, Allan Krosner
